John graduated with a Bachelor of Laws with Honours. During his time at University, he was awarded with a number of academic scholarships. He won the prize for Evidence and Civil Procedure. He was also chosen as the speaker for his graduating class. Following his time at university he completed his graduate diploma in legal practice and was admitted to practice as a solicitor.
During his time as a solicitor, he worked primarily in the fields of criminal defence and personal injuries litigation. His outstanding work was recognised when he was nominated as a national finalist in the Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 competition.
John subsequently fulfilled his long-held ambition of being called to the Bar, joining Darrow Chambers. Whilst at the Bar, John is continuing his work in both criminal and personal injuries law. He enjoys the diversity of working in and outside the courtroom.
More personally, John believes that there are very few problems that cannot be solved over a coffee. He is always happy to have a chat and find out what he can do to help.
