Gillian was admitted as a solicitor in November 2008 and called to the Bar on 1 July 2019.

Gillian practices primarily in family law and employment law.

Her family law practice includes parenting and property matters, mediations, domestic violence hearings and child protection matters.

Her employment law practice includes all matters pertaining to dismissal and general protections as well as enterprise bargaining negotiations and drafting of EBAs.

Gillian’s experience spans aviation, the private legal sector, state government and mining and resources. She has worked in both a legal capacity and in leading national HR functions within those industries.

Her previous roles like HR Business Partnering and Workplace Relations Management at Virgin Australia provides a depth of experience in working collaboratively to achieve outcomes for clients and instructing solicitors alike.
